Office Administration Job Description:

  • Type Proposals on Jobs being big
  • Handle Follow Up Calls with Customers
  • Make Project Folder/Files once awarded Project
  • Maintain such Project Folder through Duration of Project
  • Handle all Orders and Returns with Vendors
  • Work with Scheduling Department to ensure jobs are properly scheduled.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the project manager
  • Check customers contract scope of work and price against proposal
  • Review contract items (insurance terms, special schedule requirements, payment terms, required documentations, safety requirements etc.)
  • Prepare Submittals
  • Verify with installers that materials are on-site and job is on track. 
  • Routinely check-in with installers and provide updates to project managers and operation manager
  • Prepare Close Out Documents 
  • Handle all Warranties
  • Assist project manager with any issues as requested
  • Help Project Manager develop new relationships with new customers
  • Be able to handle all incoming office calls for your designated project managers

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in construction industry is a plus but is not required
  • Strong Administrative Skills (strong written and verbal communication skills)
  • Prior experience interpreting proposals and reviewing contract items
  • High attention to detail and extremely organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Acoustical Ceiling Installer/Mechanic Job Description:

Must have basic Carpentry/construction skills or abilities. We will train you to install ceilings if you don’t have experience as an installer. Are you seeking stability and opportunity for growth?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Experience with all types and ranges of commercial acoustical ceiling installations, including T-bar, bolt-slot, and bulb type grids.
  • Measure and marks surface to lay out work according to blueprints and drawings.
  • Install wire per manufacture recommendations
  • Inspects drywall partitions, mechanical mounting, and masonry surface for plumb and level, using the right tools for the job.
  • Nails, staples, or screws molding to wall
  • Measure, scribe, cut and install ceiling tiles
  • Ability to work independently on jobsites
  • Oversee less experiences installers/laborers
  • Coordination with GC and other subcontractors regarding project expectations
  • Competent to instruct and inspect a quality produced ceiling
  • Discipline to run two string lines in opposite directions to ensure square of ceiling grid
  • Identify/Resolve conflicts in site-specific conditions prior to road blocks in plan
  • Skill required to patch/repair existing Acoustical Grid/Tile System into like-new appearance

Qualifications

  • Understands production work and can operate a rotating laser
  • Has the experience to be safe with stilts, baker scaffolding, and ladders
  • Positive attitude and commitment to acquire trade knowledge and quality excellent
  • Compliant with safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrates solid verbal and written communication skills; listen to instruction
  • Punctual
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Dependable Transportation
